The prediction market's expanded partnership with Sportradar now spans more than 20 leagues and roughly 300,000 matches a year, building on an agreement that already covered the NHL, MLB and UFC.
Sportradar and Polymarket have expanded their data-supply partnership to cover more than 20 sports leagues and competitions, adding the Bundesliga, Euroleague Basketball, the Chinese Basketball Association, the National Basketball League and tennis's Grand Slam events to an agreement that already included the ATP Tour, Major League Baseball, the NHL, MLS and the UFC. Sportradar said the expanded coverage now spans roughly 300,000 matches a year.
Under the deal, Sportradar supplies Polymarket with live odds, sports data, audiovisual content and integrity-monitoring tools designed to flag suspicious betting patterns, the kind of infrastructure sportsbooks have relied on for years and that prediction markets are now adopting as they push further into sports outcomes alongside their political and economic contracts. Neither company disclosed financial terms.
Sportradar chief executive Carsten Koerl called prediction markets "a compelling adjacent growth opportunity" for a company built on supplying the data layer underneath legal sports betting. Polymarket's Ari Borod framed the deal as giving the platform "access to premium sports data, live content and integrity services" as it scales beyond its original niche.
For Sportradar shareholders, the deal is a positioning move within the prediction-market boom, not a bet on Polymarket specifically. Rather than compete with platforms like Polymarket and Kalshi for user volume, Sportradar is functioning as the data vendor both sides of that competition need, a lower-risk way to participate in the category's growth than building a trading platform of its own.
