Permira and CPP Investments Close £2.7 Billion Take-Private of JTC

The deal delists the fund administrator from the London Stock Exchange, with full approval secured and existing management staying in place.

Permira and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board have completed their £2.7 billion take-private of JTC, the fund and corporate-services administrator, following full shareholder and regulatory approval. The company has been delisted from the London Stock Exchange, and chief executive Nigel Le Quesne is continuing in his role.

The closing is one more data point in a UK take-private cycle that has run through much of this year.
